FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does sea freight from East Asia take?
Typically 4–6 weeks port to port, plus time for production, customs clearance and UK delivery. As a rule of thumb, plan for 6–10 weeks from confirmed order to stock in hand — we'll give you a specific timeline with your quote.
Is there a minimum order?
There's no fixed minimum, but sea freight economics mean very small orders can cost more per unit. Tell us your budget and target quantity and we'll tell you honestly whether the numbers work — and what quantity would make them work better.
Do your prices include duty and VAT?
Our quotes are landed prices: goods, freight, customs clearance and import duty are all included. VAT is itemised separately on your invoice in the normal way, so VAT-registered businesses can reclaim it.
Can I get a sample before ordering in bulk?
Yes — and we recommend it. For most products we can arrange samples before you commit to a full order. Sample and courier costs are quoted up front and often credited against your first bulk order.
Will I know where my shipment is?
Yes. We send updates at each key stage — production complete, vessel departed, arrival at UK port, customs cleared, and delivery booking. If you need an update in between, just ask.
What if goods arrive damaged or incorrect?
Report it within 48 hours of delivery (photos help). We'll investigate with the carrier and supplier and agree a resolution with you — replacement, credit or refund depending on the situation.
Do you only work with big companies?
No. We work with independent retailers, online sellers and growing businesses as well as larger buyers. If you're buying for a business — whatever its size — we're happy to quote.
Can you source a specific product I've seen?
Usually, yes. Send us details or a link via the quote form and we'll find manufacturing options, check quality and come back with a landed price.
